They run all over the incubator even with the egg however connected occasionally. I extremely advocate putting down a non-slip mat while in the incubator for them. Quail chicks that have just hatched are terrible to each other. They peck and pull at the other chicks. They try to get the other chicks up and shifting in the event of Hazard far too. Y
